Sapporo Junior Jazz Troupe is among the best in the international community and has very high performance standards.

They started in the year 2000, playing in schools all over the world. This year they already entered the 11th year of performance history. Sapporo Junior Jazz Troupe, in addition to playing inside Japan, they have played in Australia, Canada and other countries. They also performed at the China Shanghai World Expo 2010. Their performances are excellent and garner respect from critics and students alike. They have increased Japan-China relations, and are active in the unofficial friendship in all kinds of medium, making many visits to China to promote cooperation in education, science, and cultural exchanges.
